Time stops in Sangkhlaburi. It’s such a peaceful little town with a beautiful lake that has this charming wooden bridges on it and one of them is the largest wooden bridge in Thailand. The town has a very special and easygoing spirit. You can really find yourself there while just wandering around and observing this beautiful life and it’s simplicity. Life gets a slower pace and everyone is very nice. The main reason why i came here in the first place was my Vipassana meditation course which is held very near. I applied by they canceled it due to the floods that were hitting Thailand at the time. So i knew i will come back to this piece of heaven once more because i was decided that i will attend the course at another time. And when i did come back, it really felt like going home.
