I continued my adventure in Cambodia. New country, new people, new life. I find Cambodia to be quite different than Thailand. First i visited Siem Reap and the famous Angkor. I loved wandering around the ancient temples especially in the early morning when i was the only visitor and i had a feeling like i had them just for myself. It was a magical experience and really worth the visit. What i also loved about Siem Reap was my cycling trip to the countryside. It was so lovely that at some point i was just standing there, in the middle of this red sand road, so overwhelmed with pure happiness that all i could do was to stand still and soak up all the experience athat brought tears in my eyes. I felt so deeply grateful that i was able to experience all of it. It was so unexpected but so beautiful. I loved every second of it including my squeeking broken bike 🙂

In Cambodia i learned so much about the simplicity of life. I observed the different lives and started appreciating these simple little things so much. Tiny wonders of life i call them. Throughout my journey i learned how little it really takes to be happy. I went to this little island called Rabbit Island and i stayed in a small basic bungallow just meters from the shore. It was so beautiful to be able to woke up with the sound of waves and to fall asleep with the same lullaby they sang to me. We had electricity for only 2 or 3 hours a day but i couldn’t care less. I had all that i needed, peace of mind and love in my heart.

After Rabbit Island i stayed for few days in little town called Kep and i did some more cycling. It was nice and refreshing but soon it was time for a new country: Vietnam, that was just a quick bus ride away.
