I started my solo adventure in Thailand. I flew from Venice to Bangkok and because i really don’t feel very comfortable in huge metropolas i decided to continue my way right on to a small town of Kanchanaburi in Western part of Thailand. I was able to gather my thoughts there and to adjust to the fact that i’m really on my own now, just wandering around and getting to know all these great places and people. Kanchanaburi was nice, but it didn’t feel like home, so the next station was a tiny little town ever further to the West, just by the Burmese border: Sangkhlaburi. That was a different world and i really find myself there. It has this beautiful lake and such a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I felt home away from home and it’s still one of my favourite places on Earth and i would definitely like to come back at some point in my life.
